what dose my buddy have to do to his ford?

My buddy has a 06 6.4L power stroke with pipes and a tune done bye a pro in a shop about 2500 dollars upgrades. My dad has a 08 allison duramax that is 100% stock and blowes my buddy Drew away every dam time. It's kinda me and my Buddy's goal to at least keep up with the duramax. you ford boys know what to do to it?
Ya I know it . we could not under stand if my buddys truck sux or the duramax is just freaking nuts? but it's stock you dont even hear the truck it's so quite. my buddys sounds like a freaking tug boat.

Oh maybe thats what it was. not my truck my friends. you know I think you might be right It might be the 6.0L . hell now I need to find out.
 
I have a 2004 F350 6.0 FX4 LB CC that does the 1/4 mile in 13.5 and 106 MPH. I have the Banks Big Hoss kit that includes the programmer, inter cooler, exhaust, intake, etc. I run a 4" lift and 31" tires. Rear diff is a Detroit locker.
I believe that in 2006 you have the same engine that I have. The 6.4 came out in 2008
