What does your launcher look like?

I too, had my Unfiled hidden, but with as much software as I demo, I found myself constantly having to unhide it to access my newly installed software..
But for the most part, I keep this empty. Right now, it's holding a few software programs that I've not yet decided if I'm going to keep..

I believe that Launcher X will work on the 755. It was updated to be NVFS compliant.

AppShelf should work on the Z22, but it's usefulness might be limited. A simpler launcher, like Launcher III might fit the bill better, as the Z22 is missing SD card support.

Oh...I'm sorry. I saw your post and completely skipped over it. I looked at those apps...but I'm askeered to start messing this seriously. However...liking the idea of faster and less memory use.

Thanks for the tip, raspabalsa. That's one control I never played with when I first installed it. Handy.
DataViewer is the reader provided by Town Compass.com, a site that offers a variety of reference books. I currently have their Encyclopaedia Britannica Concise '05. Also handy.

I didn't mean to repost everything. Honest I was just trying to help.

Um, Never mind. ;)

BTW you can also break up multiple quotes. Fool around and you will figure it out. Of course it took me forever to figure out how to properly link to other items or threads.

Hi,

I'm the developer of BlackBorder. It only partially works on the Zire 72 (there's a problem where the screen freezes if an alarm pops up when the screen's off).

The TX and LifeDrive have a built-in software library that actually controls the 2-pixel border. This library is undocumented as originally only was used in the Media application during full screen. Third party Palm developers discovered it and posted it on 1src (serveral times in fact lol). Both FrameTX and BlackBorder utilize the library to turn the 2-pixel border black or white.

BlackBorder, on the Zire 72, copies the library files onto your device (automatically when enabled, and deletes 'em when disabled). It's pure luck that it successfully works (most) on the Zire 72.

Long story short, don't expect BlackBorder or Frame TX to work on anything other than the TX and LifeDrive (and Zire 72 most)

I couldn't help joining in the listing fun. I have eight tabs with two hidden and they are as follows (in order -- of course -- I am anal retentive)

All (hidden)
Unfiled (hidden with a few software titles that are on the chopping block)

-Card-
System: my "tools" that are frequently used such as PXA clocker, Full power, FileZ, Crash
Connect: web, mail, dialer etc.
Games: well games ... and mmplayer/TCCMP as movies seem to qualify here
Main: important or frequently used apps
Work: OB wheel, Growth charts, databases etc.

Thanks.

Here's mine (AppShelf) from my new T5...

Well, sitting around healing can get kind of boring so I've been playing with ZLauncher and MySkin more than I have in ages.....

Here's the look du jour--

Windows Vista Theme, Recolored grayhide DIA, icons from several sets on my PDA. Background is a picture I took of jellyfish under blacklight at our local zoo and cropped.

Might change again by tomorrow....;)

Some have mentioned that they could easily reference ANY app by a Graffiti stroke, since the "all" category does have it all. If they were using categories, then finding the apps and the organization of them would be cleaner, but would now require extra tapping, usually 2, which is NOT what some of these ppl want to do. This would also require them to make sure they were in the correct category to begin with. Using "all" doesn't require this thinking.

Sounds interesting, thanks for the info, ArGiEs, and thanks lelisa for the link. I'll check the site and see what's the deal. Seems like it's a viewer similar to TealInfo, right?

Welcome to rabroad, robitaille88. :)

Thanks for the clarification. I was afraid that was the case, hence my note about the reservations for the Zire 72. I'm happy that it works for the TX. :newpalm:

It's nice to hear from a developer. :)
