What does your launcher look like?

Haisook, don't forget either your mind tends to make the switch between QWERTY and ATOMIK quite easily after a while depending on what your fingers are touching.

Keyboard => QWERTY
Palm device with stylus => ATOMIK

That's why the switch of 0 and 9 on that phone was such a difficult one for you: the input method staid virtually the same ! ;)

I wanted to change things up a bit on my Treo680. The actual skin is the "T3 Look", but everything is transparent. I don't know if I like this or not. I may change it later. I kinda need a couple of the function icons on the bottom, but I can't really find a skin where I like the icons. With this one, I like the battery, memory and signal icons at the top, but not the function icons. This bg is the Fleur de Lis logo of the New Orleans Saints. Any suggestions on what skin that might work here?

One problem with this - Launchers, like PDAs, are a personal preference. What might be functional to you, might be complete and utter nonsense to me. Not really a sure fire way to judge this.

I could come up with a real monster mash of a launcher combo though..
SilverScreen with LinkStart lite. Then throw in Zlinks as well.

That was already ticked, but it seemed to make a difference, when I followed the previous directions.

BTW how do you get that quote in your message (like what comment you're replying to)?

Thanks

I will upload another screenshot although I feel bad for taking up the room as very, very little has changed since the first page of this thread for me (and nothing has changed since I last posted)

Go back thru this thread and get/install one of the several screen capt apps mentioned (free is best) and then take a capt, copy from SD card to PC using card reader, upload to a hosting service or add as an attachment to your post. :)

its really great to see what people can create using launchers, i spent a few days a couple of years ago setting it up and since then havent changed it, maybe i should though

I've been playing with the xPhone theme some more, and it's growing on me. I've even downloaded mySkin to play with DIA skins, although I haven't had a chance to load it or play with it yet - Later this weekend!

But with that crisp, black screen, I've become interested in the utility / app that gets rid of the white border on my T3. I've searched here, but either a) haven't searched correctly (quite possible) or b) my thinly stretched and scattered mind is simply overlooking it (much more likely.) Can somebody give a linkie or point me to it, please? Also, I seem to recall there were some possible risks / conflicts with it - Am I remembering correctly, or thinking of something else?

(I've already looked over there -> , in case some of you were thinking of pointing me in that direction... :D )

Thanks, as always!
Joe
