What does your launcher look like?

I am registered user of LauncherX and ZLauncher. I am one of the few Palm users that likes both of them! I switch periodically based purely on whim! :)

Right now, I am using ZL. Here is the shot:

I normally use Gant for the skin on both ZL and LX, but liked the look of this one - again, based on whim!

I figured it out... you guys are right that regular Sony 64K themes won't work on a T|E, but I kept looking and found quite a few themes with an additional file labeled with OS5, which does work. Whoo-hoo!

Now to find some decent icon sets... any idea how one can develop their own iconset for ZLauncher?

This isn't going to turn into one of those threads for showing very pretty but utterly forgetful young ladies who haven't remembered to put on their tops at the photographers, now is it?

Ok here is mine. I'm posting it twice. Once with and once without fontsmooother turned on. The background I used for these shots is the brushed metal one. On my "ALL" tab, I use a picture of my kids. Greyscaled and contrast reduced to interfere less with the icons. It still is not near as readable as the brushed metal background so I'm posting brushed metal...

I suppose I should talk about how I got it to look this way. I enabled the plugin panel for bottom most, then I disabled all the toggles because I hit them by accident all the time. I picked the ZLT_GreyHideT650_OS5 theme which weighs in at 400k in NVFS memory. I don't bother with icon sets. I moved icons around on the lower bar to make sure I had a search icon. I still have quicklaunch but it will soon bite the dust as I don't really use it. I was playing with teeny tiny squinty fonts until I saw Iphony and I realized that readable is better :).

I'm very sorry about that, FerdFerd. That's not my experience, and I didn't RTFM. Maybe it's down to the individual icons?

Rep to you as a penance.

So, I have a question for all of you Palm Experts, and it's probably a dumb one, but I haven't been able to find out the answer anywhere.

When I go into Palm's native launcher on my TX and try to use a picture I've edited for the background, it "zooms" way in on the picture, cutting off the edges and pixelating the rest. The picture is the right size (320x480, according to photoshop anyway) and I've tried it in a couple of different formats with the same result. I tried using a much smaller image, and I still had a problem, though it didn't crop quite as much.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I feel really silly, it's probably something simple, but it's driving me nuts.

Thanks!
