What does your launcher look like?

Meh, here is my first try at using ZLauncher.

Couple things have changed since I took the screens, mainly text color and icons.

I think u mean 4x the pixel count. 320x320 is twice as many pixels in BOTH directions, which means it's 2 X 2 = 4x as many pix as 160x160

Hi Biddaloo. Awesome looking screen mate. Is the DIA available anywhere? It looks tremendous.

Regards,

Bruce

btw - welcome to rabroad! Please enjoy your stay, drinks and light refreshments are available in the foyer and room service is more than happy to provide you with any answers (or questions) you could ever be interested in!

Joel says something is up with the freeware section at 1src. Not too worry. Even if it wasn't hosted there it would still be found elsewhere.;) I did certainly like the idea that my skin had aroused the MS giant. Oh well.

At ZZTECHS, they show the newest version is 5.43. Perhaps what you read was referring to the fact that they no longer sell/support any version 4 releases since version 5 has been a stable release (in progressive increments) for some time now.

Version 5 was a paid upgrade for all of us who had used version 4.x and earlier and they had a note to that effect. My first paid version was v.3.70 in 2003.

PalmGear will only show the most recent version for download. Older ones aren't available from them. Your actual first version number would have been listed on your confirmation & code email from the original date of purchase.

Good for you. If you don't need it - don't have it. I wouldn't recommend ZLauncher to every palm user - a launcher isn't the be-all and end-all of your palm. It just gets you to where you want to be. Which is the important thing. Nice skinning. :)

I've toyed with the Constructor software a bit now, and also downloaded the ZL Theme Creator software. Cranked out a ZL theme from scratch that looks very similar to the ZL theme I had been using using the ZL Theme software within 15 minutes of the download!

I'm hooked!

Fire up Khroma and go to menu Options/Icon Transparency. Pick the icon from the thumbnails and, as Nine says, tap on areas in the icon to change the transparency. Quite easy, actually.

Well here goes. I've had countless other looks in the past, but these are the only screenshots I could find... :(

May 07 - ZLauncher with sjweise's exellent Vista skin with jjesusfreak's mod. I can't remember who did the DIA.

September 07 - ScrBtn's plain look with my fabled, never-to-be-realeased 275 count Vista Icon Pack.

Current - Part of my OpenMoko package with the exellent AppShelf.

I use Snap and Photobucket to host them.

I think I may look for a new theme soon. I just have to search for my old thread and find the places people told me to go to again :)
