hi, i am starting WJJF ju jitsu and i am wondering what it involves. i have looked it up on google and there are two things that have come up a lot: throwing and fighting from the floor. but i have seen the classes i will be training in at my local arena and they use weapons such as nunchaku's and wood katanas. they do kicks and punches. so i want to know exactly what happens in WJJF, and also what is the ranking system like? how long does it take to gain a respectable belt, not necessarily black belt but blue or purple etc. any help would be great guys and gals. i am in the UK if that makes a difference with the type of training...
