what does Victor Frankensteir represent in the book?

Well, he is a man who got carried away with science. He was so determined and preoccupied with the idea of creating life that he didn't stop to think about whether it would be morally right or beneficial to anyone to do so. He is also someone who was able to learn (quickly!) that he was wrong. Generally, I would say he represents a culture that is preoccupied with discovery and charting new territory.
