What does this tax hike in cigarettes go for? Who is this helping?

I think this is wrong to single out smokers and almost double the price of smoking ... and before all you non smokers get on here and start saying "Just quit" Dont bother
 
I feel someone up high (you know, the guy who the other 97% is working for) is only preparing the public for the high tax on marijuanna. In the news, oregon just announced they may tax about $98 per ounce. And this is taxing people that have to smoke it for their illnesses.

They are only preparing the public for the harsh tax for pot, so cig guys are getting their money now. I don't smoke but it's ridiculously high what they are taxing smokers now. It's gonna get bad, then people aren't going to be able to afford it and they are going to stop.

So, it's helping the big guys for now.
