what does this riddle mean!!?

ok so i am playing this game and i have to solve this riddle

"if a cows head faces north, Where does it's tale face?"

ok I already tried

south
west
east
tails don't have faces
and
I even tried north

soo yea I can't figure it out please help!!!
i tried 'down' too! uhhgg this is so frustrating
nope not the ground either!
oh my word this is sooo crazy nothing is working maybe it is just a trick and there is no answer! I am about to just give up!
I saw the other question and it non of them were right!

well it depends.
if you mean north as in in the sky, or north as in looking forward.
cuz if the head is facing in the sky, than your answer should be none of the compass rose directions, but a trick answer.
hmm...
 
could it have to do with the cow jumping over the moon since that is the most famous story relating to a cow?
i guess the moon
