Hi
I've been in England since 6 months as a PhD student.
Yesterday I was heading back home from Tesco on my Bike when a car came next to me and a boy (12-15 yrs) threw an egg towards me but it hit the wall (they weren't following me because I was just heading out from Tesco!)
I didn't took it as an offensive act since he is a teenager!
During the 6 months I haven't had any trouble here, I think people are so polite and kind and British people do respect other cultures pretty much (some people say it's because of the strict rules, but I say it's because they were reared to respect others)
I don't want any bigotry or racism answers, since this could happen in any country.
I just want to know what does throwing eggs means? what do you think about the driver? and is it considered illegal? like should I next time take the car number and tell the police?
Cheers
