well, generally, with the game you just have to kind of reference the gamer's guide. at that point, there are normally hints to the purpose of this teleport stove. however, if there is no reference to it, just consider it a prop.
 
Does it teleport the food to the customers or do the waiters need to teleport the food themselves???
