My husband wants to get back into the Army after a medical discharge for bilateral knee pain. He recently went to an orthopedic doctor and got the "all clear" for active service, my question to all of you out there...preferably those of you with military background is this: when the Surgeon General reviews the MEB packet, the DD214, and all of those things what do they look for to grant a waiver back to active service? My husbands re-entry is a 3.
