Does anyone know if the lemon law applies to a used car with no warranty if it breaks down within 72 hours of purchase? I bought the car yesterday and within less than 24 hours it had a fuel problem. The gas gauge is broken, but we put gas in it and the speedometer is off 10-20 MPH. The guy offered to fix it, but I really want my money back or a different vehicle because the guy told me that he had just put a new radiator and fuel pump in it before we purchased it, but yet there is something wrong with the fuel filter/pump etc. What if he fixes it and it breaks again outside of the 72 hours. And the guy is being a jerk about it.
