What does the image of an exclamation point in a triangle over a mytouch image...

...on my phones screen mean? My phone was in my pocket, I was lying on the floor stretched, my phone buzzed. pulled it out and that image was on the screen. Phone was non-responsive, pulled the battery replaced it, now phone works? What does it mean?
 
That is the "boot loader" screen. You accidentally rebooted the phone off while exercising, and had the proper combination of keys pressed at the instant it restarted to put it into the bootloader menu. (This is where you can flash updated ROM images etc.)

Nothing to worry about, I just wouldn't put it in your pocket while exercising.
