marine engine designate? I think my mechanic installed a truck engine in my boat (the jerk!) I need to verify that a 5.7lg sg1 is a truck engine and not a marine engine. Please help me nail this weasel.
Some times truck engine or industry blocks can be/are used,
These have about the same( 4 bolt), heavy duty build specs and low cam profile.
Check if it has brass freeze plug if you gonna run it on salty water and if he has replaced all the marine approved bolt onn`s.
