What does restaurants do, that makes you mad?

They want people with experience. No one wants to waste money training someone for weeks who will probably quit once they realize how hard the work actually is. Sorry it didn't work out for you though.

It makes me mad that the entire restaurant industry pays poor wages to its employees and then expect their staff to extort money from the customer, through tipping. The entire tip system is archaic, outmoded, irrational, and unregulated. I would much rather that the food service industry paid its employees a proper wage, that was reflected in the price of the meal; especially since most servers think much to highly of themselves to begin with and are looking for a tip that they simply did not earn.

Don't tell me how much gratuity I have to include. That's a tip, and a tip is dependent on the service. If the service is $h!tty, then the gratuity is "zero."
