I have a 1989 Chevy S10 Tahoe. It has the 4.3l v6. I just recently bought it. When I put it in drive or reverse out of park it makes a bang noise and jerks a little bit. Also when im speeding up the rear end sways to the right when it hits third gear. But when im cruisin on highway doin 60-65 it drives just fine. The other day, my buddy had gotten it up in the air. Come to find out the rear end is all out of wack, and he said it was missing placement. That I was pretty much riding on leaf springs. I know theres supposed to be blocks of some sort one on each side of the rear end. Just would like to know what I need to buy before I spend money. Dont think it needs whole new rear end, but placement whatever that means. The rear end acts like it wants to grab but wont its also not lined up when im driving. Its all outta wack and very terrible in the snow and slush just all over the road.
