what does pre-order mean?

You can choose to place a minimum of $5 at most stores to "pre-order" a game that is not yet released. That guarantees you that when the store gets copies on release date, they will put one aside for you so that you are guaranteed a copy, even if the regular copies sell out.

The bonus code they are giving away with the pre-order condition is just more incentive to get you to pre-order the game.

When you pre-order a game, the place you bought it from will hold onto a copy for you and only you. So basically you buying a game months before it comes out, you usually don't have to pay the full price when you first pre-order it but you will have to pay it all off when you go and pick it up on the release date.

Usually pre orders are when you have a spot reserved to get the game so you dont have to worry about the hassel of fighting in line or there not being any left when you get there. Most pre orders come with little things like the code to get you to want to do it more.

i saw assassins creed:brotherhood and if you pre-order it they will give you a code to unlock this other assassin that looks like a clown but the problem is i dont know what pre-order means somebody plzz explain it to me?

Okay pre-order means that if you like a game, but it isnt out in stores yet you can buy and reserve a copy of that game. When you do this you dont have to wait in line for hours on end when that game is releast to the public, cause you already bought a copy of that game. Usually you can skip the line of people and just go in a grab your copy from the store staff, or they [gamestop, amazon etc] will mail you your copy. I hope that wasnt confusing. peace.
