what does past history tell you?

It tells me that we never learn and probably never will. The Holocaust, The Spanish Inquisition, The Stalinist Purges, The Cultural Revolution, The Crusades and so on. Events like these have happened throughout history and, as I write this, there are countless wars still being fought and acts of genocide and barbarity being committed.
