very often, i hear that a flash unit can be used in TTL mode, Manual Mode, or Non TTL AUTO......how exactly does the third one work...?? I don't really get what is happening..how is it different than manual??
TTL (Through The Lens) auto means the flash uses your camera's metering system to set flash brightness. Non-TTL auto means the flash sets its brightness using its own light sensor.
