hey guys recently i was asked to be the manager for my buddies band that he has. its all cool and stuff and theyre pretty good for just starting out. what i wanted to know is what exactly would be involved in managing a band. i konw that it involves making sure the band is organized and getting them gigs but could someone just specifically tell me what it exactly takes to be a band manager?
 
I would assume getting them gigs and things like that. See if your local community colleges around you offer any classes on managing a band. I know one by me does. A class might help to let you know what you are in for.
