what does it mean when your verizon cell phone (samsung intensity) says network

not responding? all of a sudden when im texting on the bus home my verizon samsung intensity say "network not responding"
and when i call someone i don't hear the dial tone. you know like beep... beep... beep... etc.
ya i guess you do

*NOTE*= this has never happend before. ive texted on the bus numerous times before and this has never happend to me.
help
 
that simply means that on that very way the network's frequency is weak so its nt able to respond . .or therez sum prblm in the network provider's service.
