So my boyfriend is in the marines and hes geting stationed in north carolina when i live in california and his first choice was camp pendleton!
What does it mean if he is stationed to a unit that is at afganistan right now???
How long will he be stationed there for??
thats his station and his unit, he'll be there until the USMC sends him somewhere else or until he reenlists for somewhere else. he will either deploy and meet his unit over there, or he will stay on base and be Rear Detachment (aka "rear-d").
