What does it mean when the square at the back of my Sony Ericsson w580i battery turns

red? I accidentally dropped my phone in a pan of noodles while cooking on high (not very smart), but after I took it out and wiped it and washed it, it wouldn't turn on. I opened the back and checked the battery, and there was a square that was red. Also, a square at the back of my phone under the battery was also red. Does that mean my phone is dead? :( PLZZZ ANY HELP WILL DO, SUGGESTIONS, ADVICE! Please thanks alot I've had this phone for about 2 years, it would mean a lot to me if this meant this is the end... Thanks!
 
This is an indicator that the phone and battery received water damage. And yes, your phone is probably dead because not only did it get exposed to water, it was exposed to hot water.
