What does it mean when the smell of cooking hamburgers makes you sick?

ok my period is not due for a week and i had light brown spotting for 2 days and when my husband was cooking hamburgers for dinner on monday and the smell made me get sick. we are trying to make another baby and we did it when i was most fertile this month can anyone help?
And the hamburger was freash and no rude or mean anwsers please!!!
I was wounering if i could be pregnant?
