what does it mean when a scorpio type goes all angry rant?

like almost randomly it seems like he is pissed and ranting on others. what does it mean when he targets out one person to rant on.
cause its happen to me with a few scorpio "types" and i had no idea what was going on
its like they knew their sign and so they pt up this big defensive barrier wile using words to intimidate
