What does it mean when a guy stares into your eyes after sex?

I've recently had sex with an ex of mine, and after, he kept staring into my eyes!
Whenever I looked away, he would lift my chin and continue staring.
We still love each other, but we broke up due to his friends..
What is he thinking about?!?
 
It's called LOVE, they only do that when they really love you, you couldn't look @ him cause you've been hurt, but if he let's his friends come between you? Let him go. Or he'll have to tell friends to go jump off a cliff. Good Luck
