What does it mean to use an objective technique for a report on gun control?

I'm trying to figure out how to come up with a thorough review of methodology regarding objective reports.
 
I would say that it would be like you are looking in, from the outside. No personal bias, reporting the facts as they are, not as you "feel" they are, but as they are according to the facts.

If is were subjective, you could add how you feel. I think this is right.
