Ok, this might be a little T.M.I but I'm going to say it anyway. My period just came on over 30 minutes ago. With that being said, before my period came on I was "shedding" blood for an week and a half.
It wasn't flowing like a regular menstrual cycle but it wasn't a discharge either. There would be some spotting on my panty liners and when I would wipe myself there would be blood. It went on for a week and a half until just now when my period finally came on.
I have normal 5-7 day periods. I'm 22 and started when I was two weeks shy of my 10th birthday.
I've never had an issue before so this is kind of new and interesting for me. Now usually, I will spot a day before my period but that's it. Just spot for a day. Not an week and a half shedding.
Right now I do not have access to an OB/GYN so I would like an decent explanation if somebody could give me one please.
