im not going to go out and do it because i know it would be xbox live suicide, but i never figured out what exactly it means to "flash" an xbox 360 hard drive. im just curious, can anyone fill me in?
Do you mean DVD Drive? Don't think you can flash a Hard Drive
Basically it means to change the firmware of the DVD drive by updating the memory chip with modded firmware in order to fool the Xbox it is running an original game disc when it is in fact a copy.
This is done by removing the DVD Drive and connect it to a PC which is running a program which can replace ( flash ) the firmware.
