What does it mean to dream you are arguing?

I was at dinner table with one best friend [rach] who kept turning into an earlier best friend,her mother was there[rach] and we were arguing over the table.Her mom was being rude to me and as we talked i realised my friend had told her i did all these things i never did and was confused why she had done that.I then told them I didnt believe in counselling/psychology and then the father was nice to me.

Also Ive never argued with this best friend ever in RL,we are very close,though dont see each other often.I woke up very sad.
 
It's not the actual argument the dream wants to tell you. But actually is the other way around.

The people you had the argument with in that dream actually likes you - nothing more nothing less and that they are only concern of what maybe bothering you.
