I'm 29 & I had a pelvic exam 7 days ago, and since then I have had slight discomfort for a few days... like every other day. It's not constant, but it comes and goes. I've also been experiencing a little itchiness here & there like a yeast infection might be starting. (But then again it could be the feeling of my ripped/stretched vaginal area healing?) When I had the exam, it was painful during the insertion of the speculum thing. I haven't had sex in 5 years so I'm thinking that it is because I'm just tight down there. What does this mean? I was fine before the exam, and now it doesn't feel right. If there was a problem would the doctor know by now? Might she have done the procedure the wrong way?? (She did look young & inexperienced.)
