What does it mean if you can only start your car by bump starting it?

I have a brand new starter, battery and alternator installed. i notice when someone is pushing the car because it wont start the dash lights flicker on and off. Some times i can start it with no problem and sometimes it wont even click when i turn the key.
 
usually when someone does that it means they either have a dead battery or the starter is bad. check the battery terminals and check for tight connections at the starter.
