right after the doctor's name PAC? My mom had to visit the urgent care center today because she was very sick and her doctor wasn't in. She ended up coincidentally being seen by one of my old doctors whom we had not seen in a very long time. She had blood in her urine and was prescribed antibiotics. I went to the pharmacy, dropped them off and then picked them up for her. When she opened them she saw on the label that after the doctor's name on the label there were the letters PAC. So it read like this...prescriber: Mary Hewitt PAC. My mom asked me what it meant and I didn't know the answer so I told her I'd ask here. We were both pretty curious because she was my old doctor and we thought that might mean she's no longer a doctor. And if that was true then we'd want to know why because my Mom was told to schedule a follow-up appointment at Hewitt 's office, so she did and I want to make sure she's not had something happen that took her license away or something? So can anyone tell me what PAC means?
