What does it cost to have a very large photo framed?

I just had a 24x36 framed with a simple black 2" wood poster frame. No matte or glass. Cost about $70. You might get it done for less, you certainly could spend more! My frmae shop has some narrow metal colored frames that are inexpensive, in metal colors and pink, blue, green. Not sure what you mean by cool. I liked them, but theat sort of frame didn't complement a landscape so much! Pay a visit to your local shop and see what you like.

Do you want a simple wood or metal frame? With mattes or not? Plain glass or with UV protection? It can cost anywhere from $50 to $500 or more depending on what you want!
I'd suggest taking the picture to several framers in your area, compare frames, features and prices then work with the people you like the most!
