What does Format FFS do in x65Flasher 1.094 ?

Can any of you give a detail explanation on the above mentioned ?

Does it mean after we flash the new FFS into our phone, then we select this feature ?

No!
Format FFS will destroy all images/melodies on your mobile handset!
After format FFS, you MUST write a new FFS into your phone! The best method is to use original Siemens Flex_Flasher!
But, after all, phone will work without FFS too, but you will lose all melodies, images and games!
