My friend was waiting for a court date to be set regarding a misdemeanor(bad check) but when she checked online earlier today it showed "DA DISPOS DATE 082709..We are trying to figure out what that means?
I believe It is the disposition date August 27, 2009 date for making good on the check before trial date is set and it goes to court. If you pay off what you owe the plaintiff they could drop the charges and you won't have to go to court.
