always bear in mind that your oun resolution succeed, is more important than other any one thing

He is saying to make the success of your (any) resolution the most important thing, That should guarantee the best chance of success. If it isn't that important to you, it likely won't succeed.

Lincoln was a deist and a pragmatist. He was pointing out that success is important, no matter how you do it. It's more important to succeed at something than to follow artificial 'rules' that might limit your chances of success. You measure success by the success itself, not by adherence to questionable philosophical principles.

It might help if you cut and paste the quote next time; you messed up all the spelling as well as the order of it.

"Always bear in mind that your own resolution to success is more important than any other one thing."
