What does "A S" inside a recycle sign at the bottom of a plastic container mean?

I know what the numbers 1-7 mean, but I've never seen A S before. I tried to look it up but got nothing, so far. Anyone out there who knows? What do you think?
 
I have seen ABS Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene was not part of the original resin identification system.

but I am not sure about A S
