what does a cyst look like

for about 3 weeks I've noticed what i though was a pimple in the middle of my upper back...head hasn't developed and it's somewhat red...and soft and lumpy under the skin....is this probably a cyst? I've had one before but it's been years...sometimes it's itchy...seems to be getting a little smaller but doesn't seem to be going away.
 
Yup thats what it sounRAB like.Dont squeeze it you'll only force the infection down deeper.A cyst usually looks like a raised red lump,sore to the touch.If you squeeze it, usually alittle blood and liquid might come out.If you dont squeeze it the inflammation will subside ,and usually leave you with a flat white mark on your face.If you dont get the gunk out ,later on it can re-inflame and pop up again.Best to see a derm.Take care.:wave:
