The 2001 Chevy Cavalier was actually, back then the best selling car for General Motors. It does come standard with power locks/windows. The CD player was an option and obviously, I can't tell you about the particular car you are interested in, without actually seeing it. My advice is to take your father, grandfather or someone who knows about auto mechanics, when you have enough money for ANY car, and have them check the car out with you. It's always good to have a second opinion when you are looking at cars to buy. I would say, if the price was right, and it was in good shape, it would be a good first car for you.
