what does 80% precipitation means? will there be a big storm or what?

It just means there's a good chance it'll rain. Doesn't mean a big storm though, could be just rain.

It means it is possible that 80 percent of the area will get precipitation OR that there is an 80 percent chance out of 100 chances that YOU will be precipitated on if you go outside. That also means that there is a 20 percent chance that you will NOT get rained or snowed on.

It means its going to rain tomorrow. So it has a 80% chance its going to rain.
