I have talked to many different people in many different career fields and I am still undecided. The careers I am debating are school/educational counselor, mental health counselor, marriage/family therapist, meeting and event planner, substance abuse counselor, a teacher, correctional treatment specialist and several different social worker specialities. I am interested in all of them and have taken classes for each (which is why I am interested) but I am not sure what would be the "best" career. Have any of you worked in these careers before? What do you think are the pros and cons? What career would you pick? I still have some research to do but I want others opinions and inputs about it (especially if they have experience).
