What do you think will happen to the War in Afghanistan?

More existing soldiers will die in the fight, and currently, they are winning at the moment. I don't personally agree with wars, because the cost of war is solely lives (and billions of money if you count that too). In 5 years time, undoubtedly things will change, but it depends on the government whether they want to deploy more troops or retreat (which I hope they do so). To be honest, I don't know what will happen in 5 years' time. We will just have to wait and see.

it will end in failure becaus Joe Biden thinks he is apt to have a say in what goes on there.

I say let the Generals win the war.

Repeat of Vietnam, 40,000 troops granted, 200,000 troops more, a new "Draft", Distrust, and in history books it will explain how we somehow won the war by not destroying the Poppy Fields.

Not necessarily in that order.

We're there. So stop saying 'bring the troops home' people, because if we do that without winning, all those soldiers who have died fighting will have died in vain. Then it will truly have become a worthless war.

Like it or not, agree with it or not, WE ARE THERE. And if our troops are there, we need to support them regardless of our support for the war or not. They haven't chosen to be there, it isn't their fault. So all we can do is keep them in our thoughts, and hope that they stay safe, win the war, and come home when they have.

If Obama actually lets the Military do there job its going to be over soon, but he's tying their hands behind their back now and getting people killed.
