What do you think when you see the words "afro,""black," or "brown" in a business name?

I'm a Christian artist who paints mostly African American Christian folk art and I finally figured out a name for my dream art business that isn't taken. However, it includes at least one of these words--"afro," "black," or "brown"--and I'm wondering if including a word that reflects my culture in naming my business might be a hindrance (to people who aren't in my culture) before my business gets off the ground.

Currently, it seems that 1 in every 20 of my paintings are of Caucasian, Asian, or Hispanic characters, while the other 19 might be considered "black" art. I imagine that as I grow as a business, I'll end up increasing to the point of painting non-black characters 25% of the time.

I'm black and the majority of my art is black, but I don't want to eliminate any chances at making GREEN. What besides my race could I use to help name the business?

Is there a "Christian" multi-cultural word that would cover my art, even if the first customers who have bought from me have been people of color?

Do you buy products with ethnic names even if you're not in that group or ethnicity?

Do you find product/brand/store names like "Dark 'n Lovely," "Irish Spring," or "African Pride" offensive?
