dug up human remains at burr oak cemetery near chicago, dismembered them and reburied them with others or in a mass grave.
the pig of a cemetery manager and 3 grave diggers did this in order to re-sell the plots. this is the same cemetery where emmett till and singer dinah washington are buried but their graves were not disturbed.
 
This sort of thing happened in England from the 16th-19th centuries: cemeteries were overcrowded so old bones were dug up and reburied in vaults or crypts and the grave reused. These days you pay for a burial plot which lasts for 70 years. If you don't renew it your gravestone is demolished and someone else is buried there.
