What do you think our country would be like if "the attacks on 9/11" didn't happen?

A couple days ago, my aunt, my cousin and her boyfriend came over for dinner, and we had a discussion about 9/11. I got thinking of something. What do you out country would be like if the attacks on 9/11 didn't happen?
