Well I have a crush on this guy and I was like 85% sure he had one on me because he showed a lot of signs. He also asked me to be his date to prom like a week after they told us when prom was. Lately my friends have been asking if we’re dating because they can tell we both like each other. The thing is we’ve both never been together outside of school. We’re like best friends in school and we talk a little outside of school, but he doesn’t use much technology so yeah.
So I finally decided a few days ago to tell him how I feel and this is what I wrote:
So this has been kind of bothering for a little while now. I wanted to tell you in person, but it is really hard because there are always people around. I know you may not feel the same way and I'm fine with that, but I just wanted to tell you that I like you.
He then wrote back later:
First of all, thanks for letting me know and for being so nice about it.
Now, to answer your question: I feel you are one of my best friends and totally fun to hang-out with; as for being more than friends, I am not sure how I feel - that's my honest answer. I am not saying no, I just am not sure, and I don't know a better way to put it. If you would be so kind to allow me to reflect on it, I might have a more clear-cut answer. If I was going to date anyone that person would be you
