Oh mighty is the storm that comes

Its power greatly feared

Destruction is its consequence

Its mercy is revered

Engulf me now, oh rushing rain

And static, heat, and thunder

Let your sounds and sights surround me

And may your strength soon drag me under

Quench the thirsting earth below you

With wind and thunder thrashing

And leave me gaping, awe inspired

At your glorious lightening crashing

Split apart the velvety sky

That stretches out above us

And by nourishing our being

Remind us that you love us

Goodnight oh storm, you dancing siren

Your song, it brings me joy

As you toss the city in your hands

As if it were a toy

Very nice phrasing. It speaks to my own love of storms despite the danger they bring.

Maybe I have a filthy mind, but I thought it was a blend of sexual innuendo and a feeling of awe and reverence for mother nature. Nice work I quite enjoyed this actually.
