What do you think of these rims on my car?

16" American chrome coils on a 2000 Honda prelude? Tell me what you think! Here a pic..

The car is worth 7,500 stock. The rims are only 800 to install. This 10 year old car is in great shape, and since they don't make preludes anymore the newest I could get is a 2001.....
 
If I were you, I'd shy away from the chrome unless your car has a darker exterior color. The chrome on Hondas, in my opinion, seem a little tacky. In my opinion, as well, I would go with the rims on the bottom of the page. The ones that are black with chrome inserts.
 
So, you put nice rims on a 10 year old car?

It puzzles me why people spend more on the rims, stereos, etc. than on the actual car itself.

How do the rims and kick ass stereo help you when your clunker breaks down and you're stuck on the side of the road?
